Warm knits on cold days.

Photographer Victoria Will used an early photographic technique called tintype for her portraits of actors attending this year's Sundance Festival, with stunning results. Tintypes are photographs made by printing a positive image onto a thin sheet of metal, and were most popular in the 1860s and 1870s. I love how this technique transforms the subjects — instead of the usual glossy celebrity photos, these are deeply personal portraits of familiar faces. See more on Victoria's website here.
