Happy weekend! Hope it's a lovely one. We'll be having a pretty low key one here — weather promises to be utterly awful (lots of rain followed by snow) so staying cosy and dry indoors looks like the thing to do. How about you?

Architect Lucy Marston wanted a home for her family in rural Suffolk, England that would reference the lovely old farm buildings close by — and would be tailored to the way that she, husband Robert and their two sons lived. The resulting design she came up with is warm and welcoming, with echoes of the traditional. Love the use of colour, too. More here on Dwell.
